Class sizes down? Want to make $3,000 for a weekend of classes that you can teach in your store?

The digital camera has created a new customer with new challenges that you can profit from - provided you offer the right products and services. Computer scrapbooking is growing in leaps and bounds, yet hands-on classes are next to impossible to find. Your customer would rather learn how to use their computer to scrapbook from you, than try to follow an online tutorial written by a graphic designer who uses terms like “rasterize the vector layer”.

Join Scrapbook Dimensions Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Cindy Wyckoff, and Patty Debowski, renowned scrapbook retail store advisor and trainer (TheDigitalScrapbookTeacher.com), while they show you how to offer profitable, product selling digital/hybrid scrapbooking classes that will appeal to:

  • customers who claim they aren’t scrapbookers, but have closets full of photos and camera cards they don’t know what to do with;
  • men who don’t want to “scrapbook” but want to make their ‘travel’ photos look nice in albums by using their computer;
  • busy and overwhelmed traditional scrapbookers who think they have no time to scrapbook;
  • the new generation of social networking youth who aren’t accustomed to traditional crafting.

This session will unravel the hidden potential that lies within the retailer’s walls and will provide tools, processes and materials that any store owner can immediately utilize in making more profits than they thought imaginable.

We will construct a traditional scrapbook page together in class, while demonstrating how to use Photoshop Elements to construct the same page in a digital format. This will allow you to see the exciting benefits of this system. Participants should bring 2 photos 6” wide x 4” high and adhesive.

While not necessary, you are welcome to bring a laptop to class to participate in the digital presentation. If you choose to bring a laptop, Photoshop Elements (any version) must be installed on your computer prior to the class starting.
