Photoshop Elements® 6
Adobe released Photoshop Elements 6 & Premiere Elements (Video Editing Software) for Windows on September 24, 2007. Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac users was released in March 2008.
The Digital Scrapbook Teacher’s templates work with ALL versions of Photoshop Elements including Photoshop Elements 6. They will also work with Adobe Photoshop and some other photo editing software programs.

Adobe Photoshop Elements® 7 Wish List
E-mail Me to add to this list and I will forward our requests directly to Adobe.
Return to the previous color scheme. Trying to read the type on the dark gray screen is tough on the eyes! Printed screenshots are next to impossible to read. I know Adobe has heard this already!
-
Add a visible save button that grays out after you’ve saved like in version 4. I’d prefer this much more over adding back the Undo button. You can easily use the Undo History or Ctrl>Z shortcut for Undo but it’s nice to see if you’ve saved recently just with a glance. When you don’t save often you get into trouble.
-
Add 12 x 12 to the preset sizes available when making a new file. This would help the newbies and also validate that digi-scrappers use this software.
-
Spell Check-I know it’s in Photoshop, but a girl can hope that they add it to Elements too.
-
Change the word “Photos” to images. To import digital scrapbooking elements into the Organizer you have to choose “Get Photos”. This is confusing for a new digi-scrapper. Photos and digital elements are images.
-
Add a shortcut for Edit>Stroke (Outline) Selection.
-
Add the Organizer to the Mac version, I hear this daily! I’m not a Mac user but the Mac users I’ve encountered don’t want to use iPhoto to organize their digital scrapbooking supplies.
-
Bring back-dragging up from the photo/project bin. Currently when you do this the new layer becomes a frame layer. In version 5 when you dragged up from the photo/project bin the layer was named with the image name which was helpful with digital scrapbooking.
-
Bring back using the scroll wheel to change brush size, font size, font name, blending modes.
-
Enable the option “Save in the organizer” to be turned on and off. Currently you have to turn it off every time you save something. I don’t save my multi-layered scrapbook pages in the Organizer because when I do it slows it down.
